PRESIDENTS AWARD
The Presidents Award is a highly prestigious award presented by the President at fall banquet. This award was created to recognize
outstanding achievement of any member of the MBBA and is only awarded if the President feels there is a deserving candidate for the
particular year.
VICE PRESIDENTS AWARD
The Vice Presidents Award is a prestigious award presented by the Vice President at Fall Banquet. This award was created to recognize
outstanding achievement of any member of the MBBA and is only awarded if the Vice President feels there is a deserving candidate for
the particular year.
SPORTSMAN of the YEAR AWARD
The goal will be to recognize members who have excelled as a sportsman / woman. The nominations are open to any member of the club.
All nominations will be collected by the beach reps who will forward them to the President or a judging committee appointed by the
President. Nominations will be accepted all year, judging will be completed and announced at January BOD meeting. Formal recognition
and plaque will be awarded at Spring Meet.
Winner’s names will also be submitted for consideration to the Massachusetts Sportsmen Council for their Sportsman of the Year Award.
JUNIOR SPORTSMAN of the YEAR AWARD
The goal will be to recognize junior members who have excelled as a sportsman / woman. The nominations are open to any junior member
of the club. All nominations will be collected by the beach reps who will forward them to the President or a judging committee appointed by
the President. Nominations will be accepted all year, judging will be completed and announced at January BOD meeting. Formal
recognition and plaque will be awarded at Spring Meet.
THE CURT CALABRESE PERPETUAL AWARD
A perpetual award given in memory of Curt Calabrese to an MBBA member who personified the purpose, goal and idea of access and
conservation of the MBBA throughout the year. One who does an outstanding job, above and beyond the expected.
THE CLIFFORD H. WHITE LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD
To recognize exceptional members for their outstanding career-long contributions to the lifestyle of beach access, fishing, conservation
and of course the Mass Beach Buggy Association.
